You must bring a valid government-issued photo ID (passport or Swedish national ID card), the original document to be notarised, and any copies if copy certification is required. For corporate documents, bring proof of authority to sign on behalf of the company.

An Apostille is a form of authentication issued under the 1961 Hague Convention. It certifies the authenticity of a public document (such as a notarial certificate) so it can be used in another member country without further legalisation. If you are submitting a document to an authority in a country that has signed the Hague Convention, you likely need an Apostille. We can advise you when you book.

Most certifications are completed during the appointment itself, which typically takes 15–30 minutes. Apostille issuance generally takes 1–2 working days. We offer express processing for urgent cases — please mention this when booking.

Yes. We regularly certify documents in English, French, German, Spanish and other languages. For copy certification, we do not need to understand the language of the document — we certify that the copy is a true reproduction of the original. For content-based certifications we work with accredited translators.

We accept Swish (123 586 04 16), Bankgiro (5904-4313), and invoice for corporate clients. All prices include VAT. Payment is typically settled at or shortly after the appointment.

Swedish law requires that most notarial acts are performed in the physical presence of the notary. However, for certain document types we can arrange for documents to be sent by tracked post after an initial identity verification. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.

Yes. Notarium Sverige AB (org.nr 559394-5172) operates under Swedish law with an authorised Notarius Publicus appointed by the County Administrative Board (Länsstyrelsen). Our certificates carry full legal weight in Sweden and internationally.
